Year 9 Social Studies

Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss E. Tyler.

You will learn to critically engage in the world around us and understand why it is the way it is.  Y9 topics include but are not limited to:  New Zealand and the Pacific, Future Focus, Anthropology, Child Labour.


Where does it lead?  To all of the Social Sciences subjects e.g. History, Geography, Classical Studies and Senior Social Studies.
