Level 3 French
Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
You will learn to extend your general communication skills and gain greater fluency in expressing opinions, reasoning and questioning in spoken and written French. Topics include youth culture, the world of work, the environment, immigration, cinema and the influence of social media.
Where does it lead? This is a University Entrance approved course. Being able to communicate in a second language is a sought after skill and can be useful for students wanting to pursue careers in government, law, hospitality, travel and tourism, journalism, teaching and international commerce.
What should I have already done?
L2 French. It is advisable to have achieved one external at Level 2.

Learning a language is fun and interesting and you get a real sense of achievement as your communication skills in the foreign language improve, but also….

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
