Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs N. Ward.

You will read a variety of written, oral and visual texts for personal enjoyment and to extend your literacy skills.  You will develop a perceptive understanding of how language features and structure are used to present ideas and will produce written and visual texts. Key skills include critical and creative thinking, the effective use of reading strategies, and the crafting of language to communicate ideas for different purposes and audiences.


Where does it lead?  11ENP leads into L2ENG and L2ENP, and develops the literacy skills needed for any career involving written or spoken communication.

What should I have already done?

Students placed in this course will be reading and writing at curriculum level 5 or above and the end of Year 10.
