Year 11 Foundation Mathematics

Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr M. Taiuru.

This course focuses on a variety of fundamental topics including Number and graphing skills, Trigonometry and Statistics. A short course in Algebra is included to cover the essential skills needed.

The skills and knowledge you will gain from this course are fundamental mathematical skills essential for everyday life as well as for further study leading to the vocational trades and tertiary study in the Social Sciences.

What should I have already done?

This course is designed as the next step for students who have completed the Year 10 Mathematics course OR the Year 11 Mathematics Studies course.
