Year 10 Te Ao Haka
Course Description

In this course, students will build the various skills and elements needed in Te Ao Haka, whilst expanding on the knowledge of Te Ao Māori through compositions and performance.
What should I have already done?
This course is open to all students, however it would be beneficial to have an interest in performing arts.

Pathway
Te Ao Haka can take you around the world, it can also be used in various career pathways. The language and skills learnt can be adapted to any work situation, such as the use of te reo Māori and the ability to work as a team member.
Assessment Information
There will be two assessments; one to demonstrate knowledge of origins of Te Ao Haka disciplines and events and the other to perform items acknowledging mana whenua.Disclaimer
